London Book Fair 2018 - pre-fair agency news 2: Adrian Selby, Guy Jones, Phillip Window

Fri, April 06, 2018

Our second pre-fair update features three new deals for long-standing clients of the agency.

Orbit have acquired two further books from Adrian Selby, author of the acclaimed literary fantasy Snakewood. The first of these, The Winter Road, will be published in November 2018, and is set in the same world as Snakewood, albeit a number of years earlier.

Guy Jones has followed his debut middle-grade fantasy The Ice Garden with the wonderful Mr Olmos at Number Thirty-Three, which will be published by Chicken House’s Barry Cunningham, who discovered J K Rowling.

Lastly, Mirror Books, who are expanding their fiction publishing list, have acquired the first of Phillip Window's criminal caper series provisionally entitled The Max & Martha Mysteries, set in 1930s England.

Final update to follow on Monday. Enjoy your weekends!
